Revised Women’s World Cup Schedule 2025 sees Bengaluru dropped as a venue due to a tragic incident; Navi Mumbai steps in to host multiple key matches, while key dates from September 30 to November 2 remain unchanged.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced on August 22, 2025, a revised schedule for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025. The M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru will no longer host any matches, including the opening game, due to safety concerns following a recent tragic incident involving fan fatalities Geo TV.
In its place, the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai has been appointed as a new venue. This stadium is set to host up to five matches, including three group-stage games, one semi-final, and potentially the final Geo TVicc.
The overall tournament timeline remains unchanged: matches will be held from September 30 to November 2, 2025, across five venues Geo TVicc. The other confirmed venues include:
- ACA Stadium (Guwahati)
- Holkar Stadium (Indore)
- ACA-VDCA Stadium (Visakhapatnam)
- R. Premadasa Stadium (Colombo, Sri Lanka) Geo TVicc
As per the updated schedule, the first semi-final will be played on October 29 in either Guwahati or Colombo. The second semi-final is slated for October 30 in Navi Mumbai. The final, on November 2, will take place in either Navi Mumbai or Colombo Geo TViccThe Express Tribune.
