Pak Bangladesh Ties Strengthened Through Education Scholarships
Islamabad has officially announced the launch of the Pakistan-Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor, aligning with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar’s visit to Dhaka.
According to the Foreign Office, the initiative will provide 500 scholarships to Bangladeshi students over the next five years to pursue higher education in Pakistan. Notably, 25% of these scholarships will be reserved for the field of medicine. Pak Bangladesh Ties
In addition, the program includes specialized training for 100 Bangladeshi civil servants, aimed at enhancing professional skills and strengthening bilateral cooperation.
To further expand educational opportunities, Pakistan has also increased the number of scholarships under the Pakistan Technical Assistance Program (PTAP) for Bangladeshi students—from just five to twenty-five.
This initiative highlights Islamabad’s commitment to promoting academic collaboration, knowledge exchange, and stronger Pak Bangladesh ties in the years ahead.
