Pakistan will host its first T20I tri-series in November, featuring Sri Lanka and Afghanistan, ahead of the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced that Pakistan will host its maiden T20I tri-series this November, featuring Sri Lanka and Afghanistan. The event kicks off on 17 November at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium with a clash between Pakistan and Afghanistan Geo NewsPakistan Cricket Board.
This tournament forms part of the teams’ preparations for the upcoming 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, to be held jointly in India and Sri Lanka Geo NewsPakistan Cricket Board. Notably, this marks the first time Afghanistan will play a T20I match in Pakistan, having previously only contested ODIs in the country, the most recent being against Australia during the ICC Champions Trophy in February Geo NewsPakistan Cricket Board.
