Pakistan and China have agreed to enhance their long-standing space science collaboration by establishing a joint space training centre in Pakistan under their 2025–2029 Action Plan. Together, the two nations reaffirmed commitments to:

  • Jointly select and train astronauts — advancing Pakistan’s potential involvement in human spaceflight missions with China.
  • Expand collaboration into lunar and deep space exploration, including heightened engagement with the International Lunar Research Station.
  • Enhance access to Earth observation technologies. This includes leveraging China’s Earth Observation platform to support Pakistan’s agriculture, disaster management, water resource planning, climate monitoring, and urban development goals.Geo News
