The PTA has sounded an urgent alarm about growing Online Fraud in Pakistan, especially those involving deceptive calls and messages designed to steal personal or financial information.
Scammers are reportedly posing as officials—sometimes impersonating PTA staff or representatives of trusted institutions—to trick people into sharing things like OTPs, bank details, and CNIC numbers. Read.pk
