The announcement came through a joint Instagram post by the cast and crew, featuring a short teaser video and the caption, “Agli mulaqat ka intezar rahay ga… Neelofar — This winter.”
Originally planned for a December 2022 release, the project faced multiple delays, including setbacks during the COVID-19 pandemic. Fans had been anxiously awaiting updates, with speculation surrounding the film building for years.
Directed and written by Ammar Rasool, Neelofar stars Fawad Khan as Mansoor Ali Khan and Mahira Khan in the titular role, alongside a strong cast including Madiha Imam, Samiya Mumtaz, Behroze Sabzwari, Atiqa Odho, and Gohar Rasheed. The film is produced by Usaf Shariq, with Fawad Khan and Hassaan Khalid as executive producers.
This marks the third major collaboration between Khan Fawad Khan Neelofar, following their legendary pairing in Humsafar and their blockbuster reunion in The Legend of Maula Jatt.
