Cambridge International has announced that Pakistani O Level Students can now view their exam scripts online at no cost. The move, aimed at transparency, lets students review answers before applying for scrutiny, a facility not offered by local boards.
Cambridge International has introduced a new policy allowing Pakistani O Level Students to access their exam answer scripts online, free of charge. Announced in Karachi by Cambridge’s Country Manager Uzma Yousuf, the initiative is designed to promote fairness and transparency.
Students can review their scripts through their schools and then decide whether to apply for scrutiny. Unlike Pakistan’s matriculation and intermediate boards, which do not permit such access, Cambridge’s policy stands out as a student-friendly reform.
Yousuf revealed that Pakistan has the world’s highest number of Cambridge enrollees, with 130,000 students across nearly 800 affiliated schools. She also noted ongoing discussions with Sindh’s Education Ministry about possible government school affiliations, starting with teacher training programs.
The decision has been widely welcomed as a progressive step in enhancing trust between students, schools, and exam boards.
