Global flotilla to Gaza vows mission will continue
The Global Flotilla to Gaza, carrying aid from over 40 countries including Pakistan, came under Israeli drone attack late Tuesday night. At least 14 boats were struck with explosives and incendiary devices in Greek waters, damaging several vessels and disabling communication systems.
Former senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, leading Pakistan’s delegation, confirmed that the convoy remains seaworthy despite repeated strikes. He accused Israel of using “psychological warfare” but vowed the flotilla will continue toward Gaza with food, water, and medicine for civilians enduring nearly two years of blockade and bombardment.
Italy and Spain condemned the attack and deployed naval ships for rescue support, while activists dismissed Israeli claims linking the mission to Hamas as “propaganda.”
“We will not stop. We will reach Gaza and deliver aid,” Khan declared, as the flotilla prepared to enter international waters.
