The federal government has unveiled a new revision in fuel rates, with the increases becoming effective from midnight. Petrol has been raised by Rs 4.07 per litre, pushing its price up to Rs 268.68 from Rs 264.61. Diesel (high-speed) sees a rise of Rs 4.04, taking its rate to Rs 276.81 from Rs 272.77.
These adjustments stem from regular market reviews influenced by global oil prices and currency fluctuations. The new rates will remain valid for 15 days, and fuel stations will begin implementing them immediately.
