Four police officers were wounded when an IED Blast struck their patrol vehicle near Qamar Din Chowk, Peshawar. Authorities cordoned off the area and launched an investigation.
PESHAWAR — Four police personnel sustained injuries on Thursday after an improvised explosive device targeted their patrol vehicle near Qamar Din Chowk, within the jurisdiction of Bhanah Mari police station. (tribune.com.pk)
According to City Police Officer Dr Saeed Ahmad, the blast occurred suddenly during routine patrolling. The injured were identified as ASI Shah Faisal, Constable Sajjad, Noorullah, and driver Zia. All were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Security forces rushed to the site, IED Blast cordoning off the area and initiating an evidence collection process. Authorities have launched a probe to trace those behind the attack and urged the public to remain vigilant.
