A groundbreaking Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Frontier Works Organization (FWO) and US Strategic Metals (USSM), a Missouri-based firm focused on critical minerals, marking a major stride in Pakistan–US economic collaboration. A high-level delegation, including representatives from USSM and Mota-Engil, toured Pakistan from September 7–9 to explore investment prospects in mining, infrastructure, and value-added processing facilities. They held discussions with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir, the Petroleum Minister, and the Commerce Minister.
