According to officials, the new system consolidates multiple categories into one user-friendly online form, reducing complexity and saving time for taxpayers.
This simplified return form is accessible through FBR’s official portal and mobile app. Taxpayers can log in with their credentials, fill in income details, upload necessary documents, and submit returns seamlessly.
FBR representatives highlighted that the initiative aims to encourage compliance, especially among first-time filers, by making the process straightforward and fully digital. Additionally, the new design is mobile-responsive, enabling taxpayers to file returns directly from their smartphones.
Experts believe the move will boost the documentation of Pakistan’s economy and enhance tax collection efficiency. FBR has also provided detailed guidelines and FAQs on its website to assist users throughout the process.
