Fake Facebook Account Warning
Pakistani actress Sana Javed has raised alarm over a fake Meta-verified Facebook account impersonating her and misleading followers.
The Khaani star, who is married to former Pakistan cricket captain Shoaib Malik, shared screenshots on Instagram to differentiate her official page from the fraudulent one.
Shockingly, the fake page — using her name, photos, and even a blue verification badge — has gathered over 1.7 million followers, nearly 500,000 more than her real page, which currently has 1.2 million followers.
“This is a fake page, and I don’t know how it was verified,” the actress posted on her Instagram story. She warned fans not to trust or share any statements or content from the impersonator’s account.
Sana confirmed she has reported the matter to the concerned authorities and expects swift action against the fraudulent account.
She clarified that she has no connection with the Fake Facebook Account and urged her followers to remain vigilant against such scams.
The actor emphasized the importance of fans only relying on her official social media accounts for authentic updates.
