The ICC has imposed financial penalties on India’s Suryakumar Yadav and Pakistan’s Haris Rauf after finding them guilty of breaching the Code of Conduct in recent Asia Cup encounters. Both players were fined 30% of their match fees.

Suryakumar’s fine stemmed from remarks interpreted as military references during the September 14 group-stage clash, which drew a complaint from the Pakistan Cricket Board. Haris Rauf faced sanctions for a celebratory gesture mimicking aircraft downing after being heckled by Indian fans in the September 21 Super Four match, following a complaint by the BCCI.

Meanwhile, ICC Fines Pakistan batter Sahibzada Farhan was only warned after imitating a gunshot to celebrate his half-century, avoiding a fine despite objections from Indian officials.
