In a reassuring development, the medical board of the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) has confirmed that former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan remains in stable overall health, with only minor issues related to ear discomfort and dental sensitivity.
This is the first time since January 2024 that the board has officially recommended supportive management to address these concerns. According to the medical panel, Imran Khan’s condition is under control and does not pose any major risk.
The board has been closely monitoring his health, conducting regular medical assessments from October 2024 through August 2025, many of which took place at Adiala Jail under court directives. His personal physician, Dr. Faisal Sultan, has also been part of the evaluation process.
Over 15 medical check-ups have been carried out during his detention, and reports consistently affirm that, apart from manageable ear and dental sensitivity, Imran Khan’s general health remains sound and stable.
