KARACHI: The city witnessed intense rainfall on Monday, turning the weather pleasant while raising alarms over potential urban flooding.
Heavy showers lashed multiple neighborhoods including Manghopir, SITE, Metroville, Nazimabad, North Karachi, New Karachi, Surjani Town, and Nagan Chowrangi. Rain was also recorded in Sakhi Hassan, Hyderi, North Nazimabad, and adjoining areas.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast more heavy Karachi rain across several districts of Sindh from September 7 to 9, urging residents to remain cautious of waterlogging and flooding.
