UPPER DIR: Security forces have confirmed that nine terrorists were killed in a decisive three-day intelligence-based operation (IBO) carried out in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Upper Dir district.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Nine terrorists killed, the operation was launched after credible intelligence reports indicated the presence of militants in the area. During intense clashes, nine terrorists were neutralized while a large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was also recovered.
The ISPR stated that the terrorists had been involved in multiple attacks targeting both security forces and civilians. The clearance operation is still ongoing in the surrounding areas to ensure complete elimination of threats.
Locals of Upper Dir have expressed full support for the security forces, reaffirming their commitment to eradicating terrorism and restoring lasting peace in the region.
