Government Revises Petroleum Prices in Pakistan
The government of Pakistan has officially announced revised petroleum prices for the upcoming fortnight, bringing some relief to consumers. According to a notification issued by the Finance Division, Pak Petroleum Update ,prices will remain unchanged, while significant cuts have been made in the rates of diesel, kerosene, and light diesel oil.
Petrol Price Remains Unchanged
For the next two weeks, the pak petroleum update will stay the same, giving stability to motorists already facing high fuel costs.
High-Speed Diesel Gets Major Cut
In a positive development, the Pakistan Petroleum of high-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs 12.84 per liter, bringing the new rate down to Rs 272.99 per liter. This reduction is expected to directly benefit transporters and industries, lowering operational costs.
Kerosene and Light Diesel Oil Reduced
The Pak Petroleum Update revised notification also confirms that the price of Pakistan Petroleum Update, Light Diesel Oil has been slashed by Rs 8.20, now set at Rs 162.37 per liter. Meanwhile, the new price of Superior Kerosene Oil stands at Rs 178.27 per liter after a Rs 7.19 reduction.
Effective From August 16, 2025
