Punjab Rangers flood relief operations continue as they assist heavily affected communities in Punjab. In Kasur district’s Ganda Singh Wala and neighboring areas, Rangers successfully evacuated 6,890 people and 1,024 livestock to safer zones, utilizing boats to overcome challenges posed by the flooding Sutlej River.Radio Pakistan
A total of 30 villages in the border belt have been submerged due to the river’s overflow. Ranger teams are working alongside 1122 emergency responders, helping them access remote flood-hit regions.
Beyond rescue, the Rangers are assisting civil authorities in restoring road access and repairing essential infrastructure, underscoring their vital role in sustaining relief operations
