Security forces in Quetta foil deadly suicide attack, killing 5 militants linked to “Fitna al-Hindustan.”
QUETTA: Security forces foiled a suicide attack near Jinnah Road on Tuesday, killing five militants of “Fitna al-Hindustan,” including a bomber.
Two Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were injured in the assault, while the attackers disguised in FC uniforms were neutralized. CCTV footage showed a powerful blast damaging vehicles and filling the area with smoke.
An emergency was declared in Quetta’s hospitals. Officials said the attack was linked to Indian proxy network “Fitna al-Hindustan.”
The swift operation prevented a major tragedy as tightened measures across the city.
