Taylor Swift encounter made Tanya Rad’s big day even more memorable.
Radio host Tanya Rad has shared details of her first encounter with Taylor Swift, describing it as a truly magical experience.
Speaking on her Scrubbing In podcast with Becca Tilley, the 38-year-old revealed she met the pop superstar during Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s wedding in Santa Barbara on September 27.
Rad explained that her friend Paulina Char introduced her to Swift, mentioning that she had walked down the aisle to one of the singer’s songs. Rad corrected her, saying, “Actually, it was my first dance, and I walked down the aisle to it.”
Swift’s reaction left her in awe. “She was so kind and wanted to know which song. She said it meant so much. I cannot explain how magical, regal, genuine, and present she was. I audibly gasped,” Rad shared.
For context, Tanya Rad married in March, choosing Swift’s Invisible String as her first dance track.
The wedding was a star-studded affair with celebrities including Ed Sheeran, Camila Cabello, SZA, Steve Martin, Martin Short, Paris Hilton, and Zoe Saldaña in attendance.
