Trump Gaza Deal raises hopes as president vows to return all hostages.
US President Donald Trump has once again insisted that the Trump Gaza Deal will be finalized “very soon,” fueling hopes of a breakthrough in the ongoing conflict. Speaking to reporters after returning to Washington, Trump called the situation “a problem we’re going to get done — for Gaza, for Israel, for everybody.”
Highlighting the humanitarian aspect, Trump stressed that all hostages held in Gaza will be returned, dead or alive. Israeli authorities maintain that of the 48 hostages, 20 are alive, 26 confirmed dead, and two remain missing. Trump, however, suggested the number of living captives may be lower.
The Trump Gaza Deal has been a recurring promise in recent months, with the US president framing it as key to peace, security, and stability in the Middle East.
